  1. Good Morning,
I was wanting to find out more about your adoption fees on your Thoroughbreds.
I have a boarder at my place that has 1 horse now, but is starting to possibly look for another equine family member.
If you could send me some information that would be great.

    Thank you for your time.

    1. Our adoption fees are generally 500-900 depending on training and if there are any limitations. If there is a specific horse they
are interested in, let us know. We keep the website updated with the horses available for adoption as well as horses in our care that will be ready for adoption in the near future (under at the barn).

  2. I’m interested in the 2 year old “zero” Interested in photos or video of him and what his height is/estimated to be. Also price. Thank you
    Janina

  3. Hi Collette,

Carmen Esposito is excited to be coming to summer camp with you again this year!! Can you reserve a spot for 7/17 to 7/21 for certain! We will drop off a deposit. I will let you know about the August dates soon.

    Thanks so much!
    Ann-Marie

  4. Hi Collette,
Carmen is coming for the week of 8/14 to 8/18 also. Can you sign her up for that week also. I will let you know ASAP on the final week of 8/21.

    Thanks,
    Ann-Marie

  5. Very curios about Apollo. Is he decent around children? Is he capable to do jumps? I am currently leasing a horse at Pople Ridge Farms in Mexico New York where I ride. Just very curious about him. Thank you.

  6. I would like to know the horses you have for adoption. Do you have videos and pictures? Also what they are capable of. Thank you.

    1. Each horse has a link on the available for adoption with more pictures and usually a video. What kind of riding are your interested in doing?

  7. Hi Collette!
Carmen is looking forward to summer camp again this year!! She is hoping Wicka is still there 🙂

  8. I noticed that city mint has been put under the available tab and I am still very interested in her. Is she available to look at?

  9. Hello! I am really interested in adopting a Thoroughbred from you guys as soon as I am capable. I was just wondering, if I were to adopt one but was not able to bring them home for a while if my property is not ready, what would be the maximum amount of time you would hold them before making them available for adoption to others again? Would you guys offer board for that time? If so, what would be the fee?

    1. We could board for 2 months, but no longer than that (300/month would be the fee). There has to be at least one other horse on the property or we will not adopt.

      1. Ohh alright, so if I don’t already have a horse at my property I can’t adopt? Would it be possible to adopt and then board at a stable nearer to my house?

        1. Yes, you can board a horse. Most horses do not do okay being the only horse, they are herd animals and need company.

          1. Great, thank you! I figured that was the reason, we plan on having more than one horse but I am still looking for my first one so I guess it would be best to board until we get another. Thank you for your help!

  10. Im working on a school project on training racehorses for normal schooling and then plan to create a short E-book on the training process.

It would be helpful if you could answer a few questions.

    1. What are the most common medical issues with OTTB’s
    2. What are some basic issues with the horse that must be corrected (in terms of riding)
    3. what are some basic exercises I could use as a beginner to start training my horse
    4. Most common issues you have faced while training an OTTB

  11. I see that you had a summer camp in the past. Is that something you are planning to do this year?
