Smarty was returned on 12/20/2023, due to owner not having enough time for him. Smarty had previously raced at the Finger Lakes Race Track until 2019, when he was sold to continue racing in Puerto Rico. He raced another 22 races before retiring to Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare. We partnered with them to bring Smarty back to New York. He does have osselets, but moves very soundly and should be suitable for a low level riding career. He is very sweet and full of life.
