Fugedaboudit Sandy, “Fudgy”
Bio: Fudgy is a 2007 NY bred gelding. He retired from Finger Lakes Race Track on August 10, 2015, a stud with a big bow and a poor body condition. Fudgy is a warhorse who started racing as a three year old with 74 starts, 11 firsts, 10 seconds and 8 thirds with $156,279 in earnings. He has eight half siblings and one full brother. Fudgy was seen by our vet and farrier to correct his hoof angles and start the rehab process for his tendon. He has made big strides and is sound and at an ideal weight currently. Fudge was gelded on August 14, 2015 and became the 23rd gelding procedure for our Social Club Initiative Gelding Program. He recovered uneventfully and has been enjoying downtime to relax and heal.
