Asher was adopted in 2016 and very well taken care of. Unfortunately his adopter became ill and gave him away without contacting us first. He ended up at an auction in Connecticut and was purchased by a NY Dealer. We immediately purchased Asher in December of 2023. Asher has been adopted, and will be leaving for his forever home in March 2024.
Assured Victory, “Asher”
Bio: Asher is a 2008 Kentucky bred OTTB gelding who was donated to SCT by his owner/breeder at the end of his racing career. Asher came to our facility on August 24, 2015 after completing a successful racing career. Starting at the age of two, Asher earned $171,242 from 53 starts; 6 firsts, 3 seconds and 8 thirds making him a true warhorse. Since he was a bit sore from racing just 3 days prior, Asher received downtime prior to beginning a retraining program. He has since been started under saddle and is a nice athletic ride. He is very willing and brave with no bad habits. Asher would make a fantastic english pleasure or dressage horse. He has some wear from his days on the track and is not suitable for a jumping home although the occasional small fence or log out on the trail would be ok. He stands around 16 hands and has six half siblings and one full sibling.
