UPDATE 09/08/2018: Bensational has been transferred to our care at SCT.   Ben is an extremely sweet guy with no vices.  Under saddle, Ben is forward and sensitive.   Thanks to Pam and Jamie for providing excellent care over the past year. Ben is ready for his own person. Ben is forward and sensitive under saddle and will require an experienced rider. August 2017: Our thanks to On The Rise Again Racing Stable for their donation covering purchase price, gelding and the ultrasound visit. We appreciate their support! This stable was quite upset to find out of Ben’s course since leaving the track (they were not the last owners). Ben was ultrasounded yesterday (08/03/2017) and we are awaiting the final report. Bensational, once purchased for $105,000; rescued at the Finger Lakes Livestock Exchange auction on 07/22/2017 for $650. As is often the case, his last racing connection thought they were giving Ben to a good home, only for him to end up with a local dealer who then brought Ben to the auction.
