Whip It is a 5 y/o gelding by Kantharos out of Crack Your Whip. Whip it retired from racing last November and was thought to be responsibly rehomed, however the new owner gave him the winter off and when bringing him back to work, he has too much horse for her. She had a vet out who did x-rays and diagnosed him with kissing spine. He was then dumped at a dealer barn, where we were able to purchase him. He spent a month in QT and just arrived. We have an appointment with our vet/chiropractor next week. He will be available immediately for adoption to someone willing to do the proper rehab, whether that is proper training, injections or even surgery. Kissing spine isn’t a death sentence and with proper riding and rehab, he has a future to be a fancy show or pleasure horse. We can pay vet costs and adoption fee is negotiable. Whip It has no vices and is lovely to work with. He isn’t huge, probably just 15.3.
