Roman is a 13 y/o thoroughbred gelding who retired from racing in 2019 with earnings of $799,000 after 63 races, with a record of 9-19-8. Roman was purchased by a lady who had realized her childhood dream of buying a horse. Roman has some training since being off the track, but unfortunately his owner became ill and eventually succumbed to breast cancer in May of 2024. Roman was donated to us in September so we can help find his forever home. Roman is a friendly guy who loves attention and treats. He had his first ride recently and seems suitable for a intermediate rider. He easily walks, trots and canters and listens well to his rider. He has done a little jumping in the past and would be suitable for jumping 2’6″. Roman is sound with no vices and trailers well.
