Captain Noah

Captain Noah, “Noah”

Bio: Noah is a New York bred gelding that came to our facility after his caring owner/trainer asked for our help with his retraining and eventual placement. Noah has been exceptionally well-cared for and is very loved by his owner/trainer who is looking to downsize her herd. He arrived to our facility on May 1, 2014, healthy, sound and ready for a job. Noah is a war horse who ran 54 times and earned $88,663 from 8 firsts, 7 seconds and 11 thirds before retiring from Finger Lakes Race Track in October 2012. He has two full siblings and one half sibling.

Noah has been completely let down from track life and is ready for a new career. He was started again under saddle and over fences and even showed in June 2014. Noah was a gentleman at his first show, and placed over his first course! He was placed locally into his forever home on June 29, 2014.

UPDATE 2020:  Noah was adopted in 2014, he colicked and had colic surgery and then the adopter returned him shortly after he recovered.  Noah has been sound and healthy ever since, and it is time for him to come out of sanctuary.  He loves attention.   Noah is not for a beginner, and requires a solid, confident rider.

Tracks Attended: Finger Lakes, Presque Isle Downs and Aqueduct.
