Shelby Dean, “Shelby” is a five year old, KY bred OTTB gelding, Shelby raced 34 times with 2 firsts, 6 seconds and 2 thirds with $53,809 in earnings. Shelby continued to race with obvious stringhalt until we were able to get him retired from Finger Lakes Race Track on June 5, 2016. Shelby will get some downtime prior to being evaluated for a new career.   Thanks to Alex W. for negotiating with the trainer, and Pam for shipping.  Shelby arrived June 5, 2016, after finishing a distant last in his final race June 2, 2016.
