Bandit Duty

Bandit Duty, “Bandit”

Bio: Bandit is a New York bred gelding who retired from Finger Lakes Race Track on August 25, 2014. He began his racing career at 3 years old and had 17 lifetime starts. He earned $21,036 from 2 firsts and 4 seconds. He has one full sibling and two half siblings. Bandit is an adorable, sound chestnut gelding who just didn’t enjoy racing. He settled in happily at our facility and quickly made new friends. Bandit is sweet and enjoys lots of pampering. He has been started under saddle and over poles and is a calm, quiet ride. He has also been out on the trail with another horse and was willing and happy the entire ride. Bandit was adopted into his new home on December 28, 2014, our last adoption for 2014! He and his new family will be staying with their trainer for lessons for the winter before getting ready for their first show season in 2015!
